Marrakech Tropical Jungle

60 × 72 in (152.4 × 182.9 cm). Acrylic on stretched canvas. Sold unframed. An original, one-of-a-kind painting by Lina Sbai.

Inspired by the dialogue between Marrakech, where I was born and raised, and Miami, where I now live, this painting merges two landscapes into a single imagined world. Desert tones blend with tropical vegetation, creating a dreamlike environment where memory and imagination coexist. Hidden forms, familiar presences, palm trees, sunsets, and fragments of both worlds coexist, creating a place that exists only through emotion. This painting is about carrying multiple homes within yourself, until they become one.
